Our formulation for Quint-Essence contains many nutrients, digestion aides, a blend of 44 greens, as well as our Tracite. This combination, is, in essence, a "multi-vitamin". A multivitamin/mineral supplement is defined in the United States as a supplement containing 3 or more vitamins and minerals that does not include herbs, hormones, or drugs, where each vitamin and mineral is included at a dose below the tolerable upper level, as determined by the Food and Drug Board, and does not present a risk of adverse health effects. The terms multi-vitamin and multi-mineral are often used interchangeably. There is no scientific definition for either.
Our product not only contains vitamins AND minerals, but also digestive aids, our blend of 44 greens for pH balancing action, and our Tracite, a trace mineral Fulvic Acid powder that aids in the absorption of all nutrients provided in this formula. We believe that this is a formula that can be used on a daily basis, in order to provide the essential nutrients your body needs. This will take the place of a multi-vitamin. However, if you are aware of personal deficiencies in a specific vitamin or mineral, please take the adequate supplements in order to insure proper levels are reached.

We believe that our product works for individuals of any age or gender. The dosage recommendations are by weight, 1 vegi-cap for every 60 to 70 pounds, we recommend taking them with each meal. This is useful as individuals may adjust their dosage based on weight and size of meals. An individual who eats a really small breakfast, but huge lunch, may adjust their dosage to 1 or 2 in the morning, and 2 or 3 at lunch, or vice versa.

The Quint-Essence will be a great nutritional support for all of you. Any young adult that weighs less than 70 pounds, we would suggest 1 capsule in the morning and one at lunch.  If taking one at lunch is not possible, take one as soon as possible after coming from school, with a snack, put before 5 or 6 o'clock. Quint-Essence does enhance energy levels, so it is recommended that children do not use this in the evening. For the rest of the family (assuming weight over 70 lbs), needs to take the Quint-Essence according to the directions. (one per approx. 70 pounds of weight).  During the winter months, perhaps you would all benefit from taking some extra Vitamin D-3, especially if there is no sunshine available (which is the best source of D-3).  One capsule every 2-3 days for adults and 1 capsule per week for your children. If there is any symptoms of cold or flu, you can all take some extra Vitamin C and E to help boost your immune systems.

We do find this product to be suitable for children as well. Always discuss the use of supplements for any individual with a qualified health care professional prior to use.

To date, we have not found a potent, bio-available organic source for the range of B vitamins that would keep our products affordable and easy to use. The same is true of Vitamin C. There ARE certainly potent plant-derived sources of these vitamins, no question, but the amount of product required to gain the benefits is not feasible. If you are looking for B vitamins, brown rice powder and yeast are very good sources. The same with Vitamin C; you can easily get high quality food sources of this vitamin. However, studies have shown that synthetic B vitamins are actually well-utilized by the cells as long as they are water soluble, as ours are. Finding out the type of vitamins in other brands is a hard fact to get from a formulator, to be sure. At this time, it is simply not possible to get enough B vitamins from food sources into a capsule that can impact the cells in the way a higher potency B vitamin would. Stress relief cannot be achieved nearly as well by food sources of the B vitamins as it can by taking a higher potency synthetic.

There are less vitamins because the product is applied according to weight of the person. It is far more effective to take smaller doses of vitamins several times daily than it is to dose heavy on all vitamins in the morning for example. This also leaves room for the mineral content which is substantial in weight due to the mineral chelates that add the weight of the amino acids bound to the minerals. Many of these products use calcium carbonate as a calcium. Looks good in weight but is very inefficient.

The increased brightness of your urine is due to the B Vitamins in the Quint Essence. Your body uses what it needs of these vitamins and then it disposes of the unused portion via your urine. This is not out of the ordinary when taking the Quint Essence or any product that has high quality B Vitamins.
